The 3622 Weekender Chukka is the perfect shoe for those who don't want to skip on a Red Wing with warmer temperatures. Following the successful launch of the Weekender collection in 2016, the 3622 is now part of the updated Weekender model series, which has been manufactured on a new, slightly wider last. Another innovation is the use of Rose Gold eyelets instead of formerly used “blind” eyelets. The leather of the 3622 is our legendary dark brown Copper Rough and Tough smooth finished leather, which is one of the most popular hues in our entire collection.
The predecessor model with the style number 3322 in the very same leather was by far the most successful weekender model ever. We are therefore delighted that this perfect combination of a Weekender Chukka paired with Copper Rough and Tough leather is still available. The Weekender segment is an extension of the existing Red Wing Heritage collection and impresses with its lightweight and summery look. In addition, the Red Wing Weekender is the first shoe to be manufactured with a stitch-down construction and a lightweight Hill sole. This model is also equipped with the Weekender Ortholite footbed. This combination allows for immediate, maximum wearing comfort, combined with the proven Red Wing quality. Like all shoes in the Heritage collection, this model is made entirely in the USA using leather from the in-house S.B. Foot tannery.
