RED WING Short Engineer 3355
The black Red Wing Short Engineer 3355 in the gray, roughout Charcoal Chinook leather is part of the Red Wing Core Collection. It is the shorter interpretation of the Red Wing men's style that was initially designed in 1936 for the engineers working on America's railroads. In the 1950s this boot gained a following with the American motorcycle riders. The epitome of the biker boot, this is the perfect Red Wing for tough ladies. The Short Engineer is built on last 107, which fits true to size and is ideal for pull-ons. It has a slimmer look and is built with the Vibram 430 Mini Lug outsole for an improved grip and a slender inner heel area for an improved fitting.
We also offer the Short Engineer in the popular brown Copper Rough & Tough with the style no. 3356 and in the roughout Sand Mohave with the style no. 3358.
The Red Wing Heritage Women's Collection offers a softer leather, a reduced weight, a cushioned insole, a slimmer and more comfortable fit formed using different lasts, and more feminine proportions. But the same Red Wing principles apply. It takes more than 230 steps to handcraft a pair of our boots. We combine the finest leathers, produced by the company-owned S.B. Foot Tannery, with quality materials and uncompromising craftsmanship.
