RED WING Engineer 3471
After a long time away, the Engineer with the white outsole is making a comeback for the season.
The Engineer was the first choice for women in the colder months of the year, with it's pull-on construction, insulating outsole and high leg.
The new 3471 Engineer, made with the famous Copper Rough & Tough Leather, is a woman's take on our original Engineers' Boots, first produced by Red Wing in the early 20th Century.
The overall construction of the 3471 Engineer makes this rugged boot the perfect companion for the rainy & cold season, while it's slim silhouette gives it a classy, feminine charm. The popular Copper Rough & Tough Leather, which has established itself in the Women's Collection, gives this shoe a classic and colourful touch. This leather will age beautifully over the years. The 3471 Engineer is also available in the Black Boundary Leather with style no. 3470.
The Red Wing Heritage Women's Collection in general caters to the female Red Wing fans with a softer leather, a reduced weight, a cushioned insole, a slimmer and more comfortable fit formed using different lasts, and more feminine proportions. But Red Wing's principles still apply. It takes more than 230 steps to handcraft a pair of our boots. We combine the finest leathers, produced by the company-owned S.B. Foot Tannery, with quality materials and uncompromising craftsmanship.
