RED WING Blacksmith 3344
Red Wing Shoes successfully debuted the Blacksmith collection in 2014 as part of the company's Heritage collection, which is modeled after original farm and blacksmith boots. In 2016, the sole was changed from Nitrile Cork to the Vibram 430 Mini-lug in order to provide stability without bulk.
The Blacksmith 3344 (predecessor: style no. 2958) is made with the premium Hawthorne Muleskinner leather, produced in the company-owned S.B. Foot leather tanning facility. This oil-tanned, roughout leather is created by reversing which side of the hide is visible, guaranteeing a beautiful worn look over time. The 3344 is equipped with classic bronze eyelets and speed hooks. The Blacksmith is also available in the darker, smooth Copper Rough & Tough with the style no. 3343.
The Blacksmith can be considered the classic American work shoe. In the early 1900s, when Red Wing Shoe Company first began to serve rural America, this style was vastly popular across the country. It's a versatile shoe that can go easily from a day of hard work in the field or blacksmithing workshop to a night one the town. All it takes is a little polish. It's long been an all-purpose shoe in many industries.
Made in USA.
